New mentoring and business support sessions launched with great success!
Ipswich City Council’s Economic Development Team in partnership with the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training presented the first Business Booth in the Ipswich Region this. This event brought together representatives from all three levels of government to offer free mentoring and business support to small business operators in our region.
Business Booth gave small business operators and start-ups the opportunity to:
Access to Expertise: Small business owners can receive personalised advice and insights from representatives across all levels of government.
Free Resources: Linking access to free mentoring and support can help small businesses overcome challenges without incurring additional costs.
Local Insights: Participants can gain tailored advice that considers the unique needs and opportunities within the Ipswich region.
Encouraging Growth: Such initiatives can boost local economic development by empowering small businesses to grow and thrive.
Regional Development Australia Ipswich West Moreton CEO, Rees Banks and Springfield Regional Jobs Committee Project Manager, Liz Conroy were pleased to be on hand to discuss questions regarding local opportunities for small business to grow. We encourage all local business owners to keep an eye out for the link to register for the second Business Hub, which will be held at Springfield Library, Wednesday 13 November 2024 between 9.00am and 2.00pm.
