Launch to Employment Delivers Outstanding Results for Job Seekers and Employers
The Launch to Employment Forum has once again proven to be a powerful driver of workforce participation and community connection, delivering strong results for both job seekers and employers across the region.
The initiative, led by the Springfield Regional Jobs Committee in partnership with Link and Launch, local employers, training providers, and community organisations, successfully connected local job seekers with genuine employment opportunities. The forum provided direct engagement with employers actively recruiting across diverse industries, including aged and community care, hospitality, manufacturing, warehousing, apprenticeships, and local government.
Participants benefited from access to on-the-spot interviews, career pathway advice, and training options designed to build confidence and open doors to meaningful employment. Employers reported high levels of engagement with motivated candidates, while community representatives highlighted the program’s positive impact in reducing barriers faced by disadvantaged job seekers.
Regional leaders have praised the event as a model for how industry, government, and community can work together to strengthen the local labour market and create opportunities for all.
With its proven track record of results, Launch to Employment is now firmly established as a cornerstone initiative supporting workforce readiness and and inclusive participation across the region.
