New Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Centre Opens at Eagle Farm

Queensland’s training and innovation future took a major step forward yesterday with the official opening of TAFE Queensland’s new Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Centre at Eagle Farm.

Rees Banks, Chair of the Springfield Regional Jobs Committee, attended the event alongside RDA Ipswich & West Moreton Committee Member Katey Cochrane, joining industry and government representatives to see first-hand the state-of-the-art, 5-Star Green Star-rated facility.

With a strong focus on advanced manufacturing, robotics, and sustainable industries, the centre represents a significant investment in Queensland’s future workforce, equipping students with the skills needed for the jobs of tomorrow.

The Honourable Ros Bates MP officially opened the centre, commending TAFE Queensland for its leadership in future-focused training and collaboration.

“This new facility is not just an investment in infrastructure, it’s an investment in people and the industries that will drive Queensland’s economy forward,” Mr Banks said.
