The Springfield Jobs Committee is driven by locals, for locals.

New Era of Springfield Regional Jobs Committee
The Springfield Regional Jobs Committee (SRJC) is a Queensland Government-funded, locally led workforce coordination body that connects industry, government, and education providers to address skills shortages, workforce participation, and business growth through practical, place-based solutions.
From 2026, the SRJC is expanding its remit in response to strong population growth and residential development along key transport corridors, often without corresponding local employment generation. This expansion covers the Greater Springfield Economic Zone, spanning 14 SA2s across Ipswich, Brisbane, and Logan, and representing a shared, highly mobile labour market.
Driven by locals, for locals, the SRJC is the region’s primary mechanism for workforce intelligence and coordinated workforce solutions.

The Springfield Jobs Portal
Springfield Jobs is a free online employment platform that aims to connect local job seekers with local employers across Greater Springfield. We also offer educational and course material through our education partners as well as provide information on major industries and career development opportunities in our local area. By doing this, we hope to achieve greater prosperity for our local community and economy.

Acknowledgement of Country
The Springfield Regional Jobs Committee acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work, live and represent land across the region.
