Young People Show Strong Interest in Apprenticeships at Ipswich Careers Expo

The Springfield Regional Jobs Committee attended the Ipswich Region Business, Careers and Jobs Expo, where representatives spoke with students, job seekers, employers and training organisations across the day.

The event provided an opportunity to engage directly with attendees about local employment, training and career pathways. Across the day, the Springfield Regional Jobs Committee spoke with around 80 young people about a range of options, including further education, local job opportunities and vocational pathways.

A recurring point of interest in those conversations was apprenticeships, with many young people seeking more information about trade pathways, how apprenticeships work and what opportunities may be available in the region.
