Woodcrest Careers Expo Inspires Future Pathways

The Woodcrest State College Careers Expo was a great success, bringing together students from Woodcrest, Camira State School, and Springfield Lakes State School to explore future study and career opportunities.

The Springfield Regional Jobs Committee once again joined forces with Link and Launch to answer the young peoples career questions! The expo gave students the chance to learn about a wide range of pathways, from university and vocational education to apprenticeships and training options. The event stood out for its early focus, engaging Year 6 students alongside senior students, helping to spark ideas and encourage big dreams from a young age.

The enthusiasm of the younger students and the thoughtful questions from those preparing to leave school underscored the importance of initiating career conversations at an early stage. Organisers and students alike are to be praised for making the day both inspiring and informative for all.
